High definition Giclee print measuring 30" x 13"

"I've always had a fascination for military history. During England's Tour to South Africa in 1995/6 I spent as much spare time as I could visiting old battlefields. At Isandlwana in 1879 the Zulu's killed over 1,000 British and Colonial soldiers in a massacre at the foot of this mountain. It's changed very little since th day of the battle. Only a few white cairns and one or two memorials alter the original landscape. I'm not into the supernatural, but I have to say, left there on my own to paint for a few hours, I felt it a very eerie place and it seemed as though I was being watched over my shoulder by both Zulus and British Redcoats. I can't explain it exactly, but it was a spooky place to be. I love'd it!" Jack Russell MBE
